Job Overview:
As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact between their customers and the service department. Your main responsibilities will include providing outstanding customer service, managing service appointments, and ensuring a seamless experience for guests from the moment they enter the dealership to the completion of their vehicle's service. Your role will be crucial in building lasting relationships with customers and ensuring their satisfaction with their services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and assess their service needs promptly and efficiently.
  • Schedule and manage service appointments, ensuring optimal use of workshop resources.
  • Prepare accurate service estimates and communicate necessary repairs to customers clearly, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, warranties, and promotions offered by the dealership.
  • Collaborate with technicians to understand the nature of repairs and relay this information to customers.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and gain feedback regarding their experience.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner, aiming for swift resolution.
  • Process customer transactions, including service payments and warranty claims, in accordance with dealership policies.
  • Maintain an organized and clean service reception area.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems and service processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using dealership management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Full UK driving license.
