Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester - Birstall, West Yorkshire

£30,000 Salary - £35,000 + OTE

A well-established and respected garage in West Yorkshire, is seeking a highly competent and experienced Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join our team. We are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality service and are looking for someone who shares our dedication to excellence.

**Responsibilities:**

* Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
* Carry out routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and brake checks.
* Conduct thorough MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations.
* Accurately record all work carried out and maintain clear and concise paperwork.
* Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance requirements.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
* Work effectively as part of a team.

**Qualifications & Experience:**

* **Essential:**
* Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
* Current MOT Test Licence.
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* **Desirable:**
* Experience in a fast-paced garage environment.
* Knowledge of various vehicle makes and models.
* Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic equipment.
* Clean driving licence.
